Jerome Osentowski, Director of CRMPI, has taught dozens of classes to hundreds of people all over the world and is a well respected expert in his field. He has designed and built four greenhouses on-site at CRMPI, has helped in the design process for ten other completed greenhouses throughout Colorado, and is currently aiding in three other greenhouse projects.
Peter Bane is a long time permaculture practitioner and theorist who founded The Permaculture Activist, the oldest and most widely read magazine about permaculture and sustainable agriculture issues. He has over 15 years of experience writing and editing permaculture-related publications.
John Cruickshank has been involved in the design and construction of many of the same greenhouses as Jerome, as well as developing the Sunny John composting toilet. He also helped to develop and implement the subterrainian heating and cooling systems currently in use in all four of CRMPI's greenhouses, which will be outlined in detail in the book.
Cornelia Russig is a Landscape Architect for Design Workshop in Aspen, and has over 10 years experience in landscape architecture and land planning. She will add much-needed experience in technical drawing to the team. Currently, Cornelia is living and helping the project from Germany.
Sophia Jackson is also a full-time resident and caretaker of the permaculture institute. She is bringing to the team her expertise in gardening, both indoor and outdoor, as well as an ability to listen to and communicate with plants. Her relationship with the Earth spirits helps her to foster a deep understanding of relationships between plants, humans, and all that surrounds us.
